Clara's Terms and conditions of use

The Clara Members website is provided by Broadstone Corporate Benefits Limited (Broadstone) for use by members of pension schemes that Broadstone administers. Please be aware that Clara Members is not available to members of all pension schemes administered by Broadstone. If you are a member of a pension scheme administered by Broadstone and believe you should have access to Clara Members (but have not received an activation code to use the service) please contact the Broadstone administration team by emailing pensions.admin@broadstone.co.uk.

All content throughout the Clara Members website is the property of Broadstone Corporate Benefits Limited.

Broadstone reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions of use at any time without prior notice. Your continued access to or use of this website will constitute your acceptance of any such modifications or amendments.

Definitions

‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’ means Broadstone

‘Member’, ‘You’, ‘Your’ means the individual member who is using the Clara Members website

‘Clara Members’, ‘Website’, ‘Service’ means the Clara Members website

Website availability and information

We will make every effort to provide you with continuous access to the Clara Members website but cannot guarantee its availability at all times. We will not be liable to you if for any reason the Clara Members website is unavailable at any time or for any period. If you are unable to access the website and would like to check your pension benefits or send us an instruction, please contact the Broadstone administration team by emailing pensions.admin@broadstone.co.uk.

Clara Members is provided on an ‘information only’ basis. This means that the information published or displayed on the website does not constitute financial advice, promotion or a recommendation for you to take any particular course of action. Broadstone does not provide individual financial advice to members; if you make any decisions in relation to your pension account you should seek independent financial advice from a suitably authorised adviser. We will make reasonable effort to ensure the information provided through Clara Members is current and correct. However, we cannot guarantee that all information will be error free. In particular, some information may be provided by a third party (for example, an external investment manager) and we are not liable for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions in the information they have provided. Any fund values, projected future values or benefit projections calculated using any interactive tools within Clara Members are not guaranteed and are provided for illustration purposes only.

Retirement/Benefit Information

This site contains details of the benefit you may receive from the Scheme. The actual benefit you will receive will be calculated strictly in accordance with the rules of the Scheme.

If you access an estimate of the benefits payable within this site, please note that the information provided is just that – an estimate. It does not constitute entitlement to the benefits illustrated. You should not make any retirement decision based solely on the figures provided.

Your data

Your personal data is held and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Scheme to which your Clara Members access relates, a copy of which is available on request.

Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information, such as your username and password. You must not disclose your login information to anyone else. We recommend you change your password on a regular basis and do not use the same password for Clara Members as you use for any other online account. Any instructions sent or actions undertaken through the website using your login information will be treated as a genuine request made by you. Members are responsible for any losses arising from actions undertaken through Clara Members using your login details.

If you believe your account information has been compromised, please change your password and then contact Broadstone immediately on 01527 598688 to notify us of the issue.

Contact details

Any requests made or actions undertaken through Clara Members will be confirmed to you via email. It is your responsibility to keep your email address up to date. Email confirmations will be sent whenever any of the following occur (this list is not exhaustive):

• you change your contact details
• you change your email address (in this situation an email will be issued to both the old and new email address)
• you send a message through Clara Members
• Broadstone responds to a message through Clara Members
• you give an investment instruction
• you change your password

If you receive an email from Broadstone or Clara Members that you did not expect or initiate, it is possible your account information has been compromised. Should this occur, please change your password and then contact Broadstone immediately on 01527 598688 to notify us of the problem.

Electronic communications

By registering to access Clara Members you are giving your consent to the Trustees of your pension scheme to send scheme information to you electronically where they consider it appropriate to do so.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the English courts are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes or claims which may arise pursuant to or in connections with these terms and conditions.
